我和我的團隊經過一年半時間共組裝了五台3D印表機及三台CNC成型機, 用的是最方便的MakerSlide 系統的鋁擠型, 由於起源於美國, 因此加上國際運費,成本相對提高, 就在一次幫助朋友組裝3D印表機時, 興起了何不自己設計符合台灣螺帽的MakerSlide 系統的鋁擠型的念頭, 希望幫助其他3D的Maker用低成本就能擁有屬於個人風格的機器.
