聚在一起，夢想要讓台灣原住民族的聲音飛揚到世界各個角落

我們的腳步踏過菲律賓及印度，將原聲唱進南島故鄉
而今年暑假，13個人，7個族群
受邀前往美國舊金山及奧勒岡州參與美國原住民族一大盛會-Pow wow 節慶
用歌聲頌讚上天賜予大地萬物，以歌聲傳遞對祖先敬愛，對文化的熱情
讓世界驚豔臺灣 讓臺灣綻放世界
We are a group of thirteen indigenous students from Taiwan’s seven tribes, gathering and dreaming of promoting Taiwan indigenous cultures to everywhere in the world. We had visited Philippines and India, spreading our voice to the Austronesia and South Asia.
This summer, we are invited to San Francisco and Oregon State for the biggest festival of American indigenous tribes – Pow wow. We praise the god and nature through our voice and show our respect to the ancestors and our cultures. We invite you to join us and make Taiwan stunning to the world.

形容一場不同族群不分你我聚在一起
共同慶祝文化、音樂與藝術的盛會

我們將代表臺灣與奧勒岡州各民族一同探討傳承傳統文化、土地保育等議題
並借鏡其成功例子
於歸國時能回饋於部落及社會
We are the first students group who attend the POW-WOW festival in American indigenous tribe for the culture exchange. The term “POW-WOW” is originated from American indigenous group. “Spiritual leader”, are people who are from different tribes gather to celebrate the cultures, music, and arts. We are representing Taiwan to discuss the issue of traditional culture and land conservation in depth with the native people in Oregon. We can learn from their successful cases and take them as reference in addition to apply to our tribes and societies in Taiwan.

After this project, there will be a convention sharing our experiences and reflection on culture exchange. Through this convention, we want to share and convey the value of relationship between land, nature, and humans. What’s more, we will hold the service learning of Youth Volunteer for Native Villages. We plant dream seeds within our hearts and our story to cultivate the plant with our American dream.

Before we head off to America, we will be hosting two music events on June 17th and June 24th, “Dream Day,” to help us fundraise.
June 17th 6:00pm at Fu Jen University Arens Multi-functional Conference Centre
(No.510, Zhongzheng Rd., Xinzhuang Dist., New Taipei City)
June 26th 7:00pm at Redroom-Taiwan Air Force Innovation Base (TAF) 2F Library
(No. 177, Sec. 1, Jianguo S. Rd (Intersection of Jianguo S. Rd. and Jinan Rd.) Taipei City)
We will be performing traditional dance of Pangcah, Pinuyumayan, Atayal, Bunun, and Paiwan tribes. Furthermore, we will integrate the traditions to create the modern celestial voice. If you are interested to reserve the ticket, please check the ticket information on our Facebook fan page.

出國交流旅費項目經費支出大項
- 交通費：團隊臺灣美國來回機票(團員負擔)及當地活動交通使用。
- 膳食、住宿費:當地文化交流之餐費支出與住宿。
- 印刷費：團隊準備交流手冊、活動宣傳海報提供當地活動使用。
- 材料費：團隊手工製作能臺灣原住民族的禮物贈予當地協助活動的族人。
- 雜支： 團隊其他支出的備用金。（例：簽證費、保險費）
Budget
The items we cost in the project
- Transportation fare:
a) round-trip ticket for America and Taiwan (at our own expense)
b) for local transportation - Boarding and lodging cost: for the boarding and lodging in America
- Printing cost: for the activity handbooks and event posters used in America
- Material cost: for the handicrafts produced as the gifts to the native people who assist our activity
- Miscellaneous Expenses: imprest cash for other cost like certificate fees or insurance fees etc.

及印度Williamnaggar、Shillong、Guwahati、Tezpur等原住民族地區
分享臺灣原住民族美麗文化
活動自培訓到出國期間共計影響超過60,869人。

Our story
The culture exchange project has been conducted for five years since 2013. We visited Bohol and Mindoro Island in Philippines from 2013 to 2014. Then we visited Laoag, Agninaldo, Mayoyao, and Banaue City in Philippine in 2015 and Williamnaggar, Shillong, Guwahati, and Tezpur City in India in 2016. Those places we visited are the residence of indigenous people. We shared Taiwan indigenous cultures there, and the people we influenced in these five years were over 60,869. This year, we formed a team “Dream Day,” all of us are touched by the story of seniors and their influence on this world. Thus, we are excited of this project and the cultural journey.
